Community Picnic - SU25
Nourish the Body, Feed the Soul, Support the Journey – Scholarship Fundraising Community Picnic
Service Description
Join us for a Community Picnic on August 5th at 6 PM at East Riverfront Park in South Jordan, where friends come together to share food, build connections, and explore the healing power of nature. Enjoy grilled fare (with vegetarian options available) in a beautiful riverside setting while learning about Nature-Informed Mental Health. This approach nurtures emotional well-being through a deeper connection with the natural world. As part of the gathering, Dr. Heidi Schreiber-Pan will share powerful stories from her recent work supporting Ukrainian communities affected by war, offering insights into how nature can serve as a source of resilience and restoration. All proceeds will support our scholarship fund, helping remove financial barriers to access nature-informed programming for those in need. All are welcome!
