Invitation
Help us create a T-shirt people will actually love to wear.

CNIT is inviting artists, designers, students, clinicians, nature lovers, and community members to submit an original T-shirt design that reflects the spirit of nature-informed therapy.
​
We are keeping the direction intentionally open. Your design does not need to look a certain way. It can be simple, bold, hand-drawn, graphic, playful, symbolic, abstract, nature-inspired, text-based, or something we have not imagined yet.

The final winner will be chosen by community vote.

Winner receives: $150 artist honorarium, two free CNIT T-shirts, and an artist spotlight.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a design that feels connected to CNIT’s work and mission, but we do not want to define that too narrowly.

Your design might explore healing, nature, community, belonging, the human nervous system, care, resilience, the living world, therapy beyond four walls, or something else entirely.
​
The most important question is:

Would someone want to wear this?
​
We are especially interested in designs that feel original, wearable, clear, and emotionally resonant.
Creative Direction
The direction is intentionally broad.

Bold, quiet, earthy, colorful, symbolic, or unexpected

Winner Award
The selected designer will receive:

Public artist credit through CNIT’s social media, newsletter, and/or website

CNIT may request small production-related edits to prepare the final artwork for printing.

Community Voting
After submissions close, CNIT will select a group of finalists. The CNIT community will then be invited to vote for the winning design.
Community voting is part of the heart of this project. We want the final shirt to be something our community is excited to wear and share.
Artwork Rights
Artists retain ownership of their original artwork.

By submitting a design, artists give CNIT permission to share the submission for contest-related promotion, including social media, newsletter, and website announcements.
​
The winning artist agrees to allow CNIT to use, print, sell, and promote the selected design for CNIT-related purposes. CNIT may request small production-related edits in collaboration with the artist.
Non-winning designs will not be printed, sold, or used for merchandise without the artist’s permission.
