Service Description

Embark on a transformative trek through the German and Austrian Alps - where mindful hiking, immersive cultural exchange, and CNIT’s evidence-based nature therapy practices unite to foster deep healing and global understanding. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to retreat in a landscape straight out of The Sound of Music—surrounded by alpine peaks, wildflower meadows, and shimmering lakes—this experience is for you. If you enjoy local, non-touristy adventures, love hiking, and are curious about how you’re wired and how to grow into the best version of yourself, you’ll feel right at home. Why This Retreat? - Nature-Based Mental Health: Engage in guided Nature-Informed Therapy exercises grounded in neuroscience, mindfulness, and ecopsychology. - Cross-Cultural Learning: Exchange healing traditions with Alpine herbalists and land stewards, visiting places that are local, culturally rooted, and largely free from international tourism. - Nonprofit Mission: As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, CNIT is dedicated to deepening people’s connection with local ecology—this time through the healing landscapes of the Alps mountains and lakes. Proceeds support our scholarship fund, expanding access to nature therapy for underserved communities. Food Allergies & Dietary Needs Because this retreat involves international travel, shared meals, and coordination with local lodging and food providers, CNIT is generally only able to accommodate vegetarian meals. Participants with food allergies, sensitivities, or medically necessary dietary restrictions should understand that we will most likely not be able to accommodate specialized dietary needs beyond vegetarian options. Anyone with significant dietary restrictions should contact us before registering to determine whether this retreat is a safe and appropriate fit. We care deeply about participant safety and inclusion, and we want to be transparent about the limits of small-group international retreat programming.
