Mary Sue McCarthy, LCPC. Certified EMDR Trauma and Addictions psychotherapist and Trauma-Informed Equine Assisted Psychotherapist
Together, Heidi and Mary Sue have more than 20 years of expertise in the trauma recovery field. Their mutual belief is that by connecting to and accessing the power of our natural environment, we open new avenues for traumatic healing not usually experienced in an office setting.
Heidi and Mary Sue have designed this retreat to offer a deeper understanding of traumatic injury, what our brains and nervous systems do to protect us and how elements of the outdoors are resources for “natural” emotional balance.
Participants will NOT be invited to, expected to, or encouraged to share about personal trauma. All Privacy and confidentiality will be respected.
The retreat is limited to 12 attendees. Need-based scholarship is available.
