About the Program
This will be a donation-based mindfulness & hiking group facilitated by Nature-informed Therapists. Experience the fall foliage. Come connect with yourself, each other, the Earth, and any grief you are holding for the devastation of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. Nature is a place we can find hope, reconcile our pain, connect meaningfully with ourselves and others and a force greater than ourselves. There will be two chunks of 20-minute walking time in the woods, an opening mindfulness exercise, a mid-hike nature therapy integrated mindfulness practice, and opportunity for sharing/connecting. Location will be a Baltimore County trail, exact location will be sent to you upon registration. Wait for an email for follow-up instructions and details. All proceeds of the hike will go to people working to ensure that folks in need are receiving adequate water and other necessary supplies.
